Gratitude for His Provisions // A man can receive nothing, except it be given him… John 3:27

Lord, according to Psalm 16:2, all the good things in my life come from You. John 3:27 says “A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” Psalm 145:15-16 says “15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.” You have been The Great Shepherd to me and my family. Glory be to Your precious, Holy Name.

You provide for the beasts in the field and I know I am of greater worth than animals. Matthew 6:26 says “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” Lord, You refresh my soul, renew my strength and direct my steps. For diverse provisions in all arena of life, I worship Your Majesty.

Thank You Lord for making a way when I went through the ‘wilderness’ of life. I appreciate You for the needs that have been met. I also thank you for the needs yet to be met because Psalm 84:11 says “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Psalm 34:10 says “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.” I worship You Lord because I know You will honor Your word and continue to supply all our needs in my family. Ancient of days, You are worthy of my praise!
